Happy Birthday to Me!

My brother and older cousin both turned 40 recently. They both looked at me over Christmas dinner and said enjoy being young enough not to care. I said I have my moments when I feel I am running out of time, but for the most part I am slowly learning to enjoy the ride. Every year around this time I start thinking of my life. Reflecting on the past year, and setting goals for the new one fast approaching. All I can think this time is that I have had some successes and some failures. People are often so afraid to fail they don’t begin to try at all. I started the development work for D’babetta.com about this time last year. I can truly say that I am blessed to have some amazing writers in my corner. I have continued to grow and learn each step of the way. I love that I have this place to reflect and share. I’ve met some amazing digital talent this past year. I want to thank every single person I came in contact with this year. Every business card exchange, e-mail communication, invite to event means something to me. It means that I like all of you matter. My voice has weight and my light has touched someone. That is my sincerest hope each day as I log on and write. This platform has taken me some awesome places in just one little year. I know that this is only the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
