I love this artist community. They truly come together to learn their craft, and better their skill level. There were celebs in every sense of the word. I enjoy this group of professionals. Last year I had a blast. I was so overwhelmed by it all and did not know what to expect. This year I was ready. I had a shopping list, a perfectly plotted out agenda of workshops and seminars I wanted to attend. I was ready with comfy shoes and all. Here are some of the glam squad highlights in all their colorful glory. 

My favorites session (of course was the Beauty and Blogging session. The fabulous self proclaimed God mother of Brown blogging Afrobella was there, along with Jen James of Jen James Beauty, the fabulous brow goddess extraordinaire. I loved this session and of course live tweeted it. They spoke about how they got started in the business of blogging. What has proved to work for them in create their own brand. Branding and Business is a big deal to me, and it seems to keep coming up so of course there is a post coming on that topic soon. 

I love OCC. That is I love Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics. Their colors are second to none, and I say this because I used to fawn over Essie and OPI (yes they have more colors), but the quality of these nail lacquers is phenomenal. I believe the picture above is of their newest creation this season called Radiate. Its a poppy like pink that is bright and airy. You can see more of their brand on their website.
